01

Find the food you have

Search more than 2,600 UK reference foods alongside branded products from Open Food Facts. Choose UK products or search all countries. Reference foods retain descriptions such as raw, cooked or drained so you can choose the right match.

02

Make the portions yours

Add several foods to a meal and change their amounts. Use a barcode for packaged food, or enter nutrition from the label when a product is missing. Search cannot cover every food, and package information can change.

03

Keep your usuals close

Save a meal as a favourite and reuse it with different amounts. If you only want a simple record, add a description without inventing nutrition numbers. Food tracking is optional and sits beside your training and progress.

Where do the food numbers come from?

General UK food estimates come from the government’s CoFID dataset; packaged products come from the community-maintained Open Food Facts database. Source information is shown in the diary. Check the current packaging, especially for preparation, portions and allergens. This is general tracking, not clinical nutrition advice.

Reference data: CoFID 2021 under the Open Government Licence. Branded data: Open Food Facts under ODbL.
